Are you ready to take the challenge of insideOUT?
You've heard about it. You know churches who have "visioned" insideOUT.
What about you?! Make this year an insideOUT experience for your congregation. Check it out on the North Alabama UMC website. Choose the ministries tab, then children, then insideOUT. There are four Districts who will participate in insideOUT for the 2010-2011 year. Only ten churches from each District will be given the opportunity to participate. So sign up soon! The invitation is for the Pastor and one lay person who is passionate about children to contact me and get the ball rolling. You are welcome to contact the 2010 churches and talk about victories, challenges, and what they have learned about themselves and their communities. Introducing the Conference 8! The Children's Ministry Leadership Team of the North Alabama Conference is under construction! One children's leader will represent each of the eight districts. The purpose and vision of this team is to network into every church offering the opportunity for children's helpers to be more connectional! Building on the groundwork of the 2009-2010 year, we will continue to move forward with connecting children's staff, workers, volunteers together for sharing of ideas, ministries, education opportunities and resourcing needs. I am excited to introduce Liz Bowlin as the Mountain Lakes District representative of the Conference 8. D.S. Bill Gandy, Liz and I have met to discuss networking through the Circuits already in place for this district. If you have a children's ministry need, please contact Liz at bbowlin@otelco.net.
